The time has come for this year's Eurovision Top 5 Prediction Competition for 2008. Between midnight on April 9th and midnight on May 4th you can send an email listing the five songs that you think will take the top positions in the final of this year's Eurovision Song Contest. I am deliberatly closing the competition for entries before the rehearsals start in Belgrade, to give everyone an equal chance of winning. Don't forget to include your name and the country that you come from and if you wish you can also include a brief message on the reasons for you prediction. If you wish we can use a nickname, but we do need your full name to verify that there are no multiple entries.

The prize for the winner of this year's competition is a copy of the Official Eurovision Song Contest triple DVD, which will be once again feature the entire final and the two semi-final shows as well as some bonus features. This year's DVD will be released in early June.

The method of scoring this year's competition is the same as last year.

Your five totals will then be added together to give you your final score. If there is a tie, then the first person to enter the prediction, will be judged as the winner. If you choose a song from the semi-final and it does not qualify for the final, it will be rated as having scored zero points in the final, but your other predictions will still count to your total. You can enter only once, and you cannot change your prediction after it has been submitted. Only one entry per email address is permitted.
